The toy consists of a set of two-colored magnetic discs and a set of drawings with a square board and a transparent plate with circular holes, distributed evenly in it. Before we start to play, any of the drawings should be placed between the square board and the plate. The aim is to arrange the colorful discs in the white spots on the drawings to match the drawing color. The drawings have been designed to make sure that the proper finishing of the mosaic requires various numbers of discs in various colors. As the task is nearing completion, it becomes more difficult, because the number of discs in the appropriate colors may turn out to be insufficient. In such situation, the child should look for the right color on the bottom of the already used discs, which may result in the necessity of switching and moving them. The magnetic discs can be used by children to create any compositions or puzzles and for various exercises, e.g. sorting according to color, arranging them along the specified direction or line, math games (as colorful counting aids) etc. Playing with the kit develops perceptiveness and esthetics, as well as small motor skills, concentration and precision of movement.
